The St. Jude Liaison Office enhances the partnership between St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and ALSAC by serving as St. Jude's point of contact for ALSAC's marketing needs while balancing the patient care and operational imperatives of St. Jude. 


St. Jude Liaison Office Project Leaders (Content) assist with management of ALSAC content needs on behalf of St. Jude. In a fast-paced work environment, the Project Leaders (Content) follow a content strategy, review complex scientific and/or clinical content, fact-check and substantiate. The Project Leaders (Content) participate in fundraising-focused interviews with St. Jude faculty and staff. The Project Leaders (Content) provide clarity, support efficient operations and support ALSAC fundraising efforts by taking responsibility for current and relevant information required for scripts and marketing materials. Project Leaders (Content) also assist with coordination of events, tours, and visitors on campus, coordinate St. Jude faculty and staff for engagement opportunities and provide subject matter expertise. Excellent follow-up and timeliness, accountability for work solutions, as well as excelling under pressure with urgent requests is required.


The ideal Project Leader (Content) candidate has a scientific or clinical background, experience in editing or publishing, and excellent written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate has strong grammar skills and attention to detail, is able to meet competing deadlines, works well under pressure, and collaborates seamlessly with others.


This position reports to the Director of the St. Jude Liaison Office.

A credit check may be required for this position.


  • Understand complex scientific and/or clinical topics translate into simplified language.
  • Review complex scientific and/or clinical topics for accuracy and context.
  • Fact-check and substantiate content.
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with key St. Jude faculty, staff and ALSAC stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with key faculty and staff stakeholders on substantiations and citations.
  • Maintain a database of current St. Jude facts and them incorporate into content.
  • Create standard operating procedures.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for multiple projects.
  • Coordinate and participate in fundraising-focused interviews with St. Jude faculty and staff.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to inform ALSAC's marketing efforts.
  • Assist with coordination of events, tours, and visitors on campus.
  • Manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field required
  • Master's degree in a related field preferred

Minimum Experience

  • Five (5) years of relevant experience required.
  • Scientific and/or clinical background highly preferred.
  • Experience in publishing and/or editing preferred.
  • Experience at St. Jude or ALSAC highly preferred.
