A postdoctoral position is available at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for an outstanding and highly motivated candidate to investigate cellular signaling in the immune system during viral infection.  We are particularly interested in dissecting the signaling pathways involved in innate immune responses and cell death (NLRs, inflammasomes) in response to viruses.  Please see the following articles:

The laboratory of Dr. Thirumala-Devi Kanneganti offers a remarkable training environment for postdoctoral fellows focused on the innate immune system, including an opportunity to collaborate with researchers in the departments of Immunology, Infectious Diseases, and cancer biology. Minimum Education

Candidates should have a recent PhD, DVM, MD/PhD in biomedical sciences with practical experience in immunology (innate and adaptive immune responses) and/or virology and must be hard working and highly motivated.  Qualified applicants should apply for job 44867.
