The Roussel Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and creative candidate for a fully supported postdoctoral fellowship to develop potential strategies to treat medulloblastoma via the identification and chemical modification of targeted therapies and their validation in animal models and patient-derived xenografts. A fellow will have the opportunity for robust collaboration with other departments including Chemical Biology, Oncology, Hematology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biostatistics, Computational Biology and the Brain Tumor Program.

You will gain extensive training and experience in high‐throughput drug screening, mammalian cell and neuronal progenitor culture, target identification by pull-down and mass spectrometry, and pre-clinical studies.
The successful applicant will have a strong publication record, excellent communication skills, and a Ph.D. or equivalent in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, or related field. Strong molecular and cell biology background, with an emphasis on manipulation of mammalian cells and animal models are critical for success. Applicants with experience in drug screening, target identification by mass spectrometry, and validation of small molecules in vitro and in mouse models are strongly encouraged to apply.
