A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Maureen McGargill, Ph.D. The central focus of the lab is to understand how the immune system is regulated so that the immune response to foreign pathogens is optimized, while the pathological response to self-proteins is minimized. Projects include investigating molecular mechanisms that mediate survival of autoreactive T cells.
Candidates should have (or expect) a PhD or MD/PhD, a solid understanding of immunology, and experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and in vivo models of immunology. Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
Please complete the online application. In addition, send your CV including the names and contact information of three references, and a description of your research interests and career goals to firstname.lastname@example.org
